Make Woodworking Gifts and Personal Projects
Some projects start with a plan. Others start with a person, a memory, a useful object, or a piece of timber that feels worth turning into something.

Western Woodworkers members make personal projects, gifts, practical items, display pieces, boxes, turned objects and other timber work. A project does not need to be large to matter.
Making something with a purpose
A handmade gift can carry more meaning because someone gave their time and attention to it. A practical object can be satisfying because you use it every day. A small personal project can become a way to build skill without losing the reason you wanted to make it in the first place.
The club environment gives members space, tools and informal support to work on those projects. Members bring their own materials and work at their own pace.
Finding the right project
