Club Days and First Visits
Western Woodworkers meets on the second and third Saturday of each month at its workshop in St Marys.

When Western Woodworkers meets
The workshop is generally open from 9:00am to 2:00pm.
The first meeting of the month usually includes a group meeting at 10:30am. The second meeting is generally more focused on uninterrupted woodworking, giving members time to concentrate on their own projects.
First visits to Western Woodworkers
Visitors are welcome on club days.
A first visit is a chance to meet members, inspect the equipment, watch the workshop in use, and ask questions. You can see how the club works and decide whether it feels like somewhere you would like to spend time.
For insurance reasons, visitors cannot do woodworking during that visit.
That does not mean you need to stand back awkwardly. You can look around, talk with members, and get a clear sense of the workshop, the people, and the kind of projects members work on.
Check club day details before visiting
If you are making a special trip, it is worth checking the details first because the shed may close earlier if numbers allow.
You may also want to read the membership information before visiting, especially if you want to know about fees, what to bring once you join, and how machinery certification works.
