Use a Woodworking Workshop in St Marys
If you have a woodworking project in mind but do not have the space, tools or machinery to complete it comfortably at home, Western Woodworkers may be a good fit.

The club is a membership-based woodworking club, not a commercial workshop hire service. Members work on their own projects in a shared club environment, with access to hand tools, machinery and informal support from other members.
What the workshop includes
The workshop includes lathes, a table saw, thicknesser/planer, combination machine, morticer, drum sander, bandsaw, mitre saw, hand tools, dust extractors and other safety equipment.
That setup supports a wide range of work, including wood turning, boxes, furniture pieces, carving, repairs, gifts, tool making and practical timber projects. The tools and equipment page explains the workshop capability in more detail.
How workshop access works
Members bring their own project materials. Members are also encouraged to bring their own PPE and consumables where possible, although some are available at the club.
Machinery access is handled carefully. Members need to be certified before using machinery independently, and certification happens as needed depending on the equipment and the project.
See whether it suits your project
The best way to understand the workshop is to visit on a club day. You can inspect the equipment, watch the workshop in use and ask members whether the club suits the kind of work you want to do.
Start with the first visit guide or read about safety and machinery use.
